Cookie policy

iGaming Atlas denies analytics and advertising storage by default and gives you control over optional technologies.

Last updated 9 September 2026

Essential storage

The site stores your analytics choice under igaming_atlas_analytics_consent. This local-storage value is needed to remember whether analytics is allowed or denied. The choice is versioned, expires after six months and is cleared when you reopen Cookie settings. It does not create an advertising profile.

At the date shown above, the public Alerts page does not create or update a registration key and does not submit email addresses or preferences for storage. A key created by an earlier version may remain in that tab's session storage until the browser session is cleared; it contains a UUID, a one-way fingerprint, a version and a timestamp, not readable form fields. The locked endpoint does not accept or store an associated registration.

Optional analytics

The Google tag starts with analytics storage denied and may send limited, cookieless consent and analytics tag-delivery signals. If you select “Allow analytics”, Google Analytics may then set measurement cookies and receive page-view and product-interaction events. Advertising storage, ad personalisation and advertising user data remain disabled in either case unless you make a separate advertising choice through the Google-certified consent platform.

Advertising

Google AdSense and approved advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, limit, personalise and measure ads and prevent invalid traffic. Where required, advertising choices are collected through a Google-certified consent platform before personalised advertising is served.

What analytics receives

With analytics storage denied, Google may receive limited cookieless signals about consent state and tag delivery. When allowed, measurement can also include page views, coarse device and browser information, referral information and interactions with Atlas tools. The site asks Google Analytics to anonymise IP information and does not intentionally send names, email addresses or contact-form messages as analytics events.

Change your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to clear the saved preference and display the choice again. You can also remove cookies and local site data using your browser settings.
