Privacy policy

This policy explains the limited personal data used to operate, measure and improve iGaming Atlas.

Last updated 27 July 2026

Who is responsible

The iGaming Atlas editorial service is the controller of personal data processed through this website. Privacy questions, objections and data-rights requests can be submitted through the contact form. The legal identity and service address of the operating entity will be added before the service enters a commercial launch.

Data we may process

  • Information you submit, such as name, email address, subject and message.
  • Optional analytics data after you give consent.
  • Technical security information needed to prevent abuse and keep the site available.
  • Your stored analytics preference on the device you use.

Why we use it

  • To answer enquiries, correction requests and rights requests, based on our legitimate interest in operating an accurate editorial service and taking steps requested before a possible commercial arrangement.
  • To measure which pages and tools are useful, based on consent. Analytics remains off unless you select “Allow analytics”.
  • To protect the website, investigate abuse and keep records needed to establish or defend legal claims, based on legitimate interests and legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data or use it to build advertising profiles.

Service providers

Contact submissions are processed by Formspree. Optional measurement may be processed by Google Analytics after consent. Hosting and content delivery providers process the technical information needed to serve and secure the site. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Some providers may process information outside your country. Where data-protection law requires it, transfers must rely on an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.

How long information is kept

Contact enquiries are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful exchange. Correction and dispute records may be kept longer where needed to preserve the integrity of the editorial record or establish a legal claim. Security records are kept only for the period needed to investigate and prevent abuse. Analytics retention follows the configured Google Analytics period and only applies after consent.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred.

Children and security

iGaming Atlas is an informational service for adults and is not directed to children. Please do not submit personal information if you are under 18. We use proportionate organisational and technical measures to protect submitted information, but no internet transmission is completely secure.

Cookies

Read the cookie policy for details about optional analytics and device preferences.

Policy changes

Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised update date. If a change materially affects consent-based processing, a new choice will be requested where required.
