Latvia VID register audit showing 21 legal entities and 25 published website entries

The short answer

  • Latvia's official list is now published by the State Revenue Service, VID. The former IAUI was integrated into VID on 1 April 2026.
  • The VID snapshot lists 21 gambling organisers and 25 website entries. Those are different denominators: several entities have multiple sites and one listed entity has no website in the summary table.
  • A website check should preserve the exact entity, registration number, licence numbers, published website and product wording instead of treating a consumer brand as the licence holder.
  • The list was updated on 1 June 2026 and its page on 3 June. Atlas rechecked it on 9 October; that does not turn the recheck date into a regulator update.
  • VID does not display an expiry or live-status field in this list. Inclusion is official evidence for the dated snapshot, not a substitute for a current decision or confirmation from the authority.

Twenty-one organisers in the VID snapshot

Entity, registration number, licence numbers and website strings are preserved from the official list. 'Includes interactive gambling' reproduces the scope wording shown by VID; it does not add an unlisted website or expiry date.

The 21 organiser rows contain 25 website entries. A path such as betsafe.com/lv is retained as published rather than converted into a new hostname. Olympic Casino Latvia has no website in the summary table, so Atlas does not assign one.

Start with VID, not the former IAUI name

Latvia reorganised gambling supervision in 2026. The Lotteries and Gambling Supervisory Inspection, commonly found under its IAUI abbreviation, was integrated into the State Revenue Service, VID, on 1 April. VID says its licensing, compliance, legal, technical and financial-control units now perform the former inspection's functions.

That makes the VID licensed-organisers page the current public starting point. Older IAUI references can help identify historical documents, but they should not displace the successor authority or be presented as proof that a licence remains current.

Evidence path

From question to defensible conclusion

1

Start with VID, not the former IAUI name

2

Twenty-one organisers are not twenty-one websites

3

Read the licence fields before the brand

4

A reproducible Latvia website check

Each step must preserve the jurisdiction, product, entity, source and review date.

Twenty-one organisers are not twenty-one websites

The official snapshot contains 21 legal entities and 25 website entries. Multiple sites sit under the same entity: for example, SIA Latsson Licensing has three published entries, while SIA PAF Latvija, SIA Viensviens and SIA JOKER LTD each have two.

The reverse problem also matters. SIA Olympic Casino Latvia appears in the organiser list but the summary table shows no website for that row. Atlas therefore records the entity and A-55 licence without assigning a consumer hostname from another page or group company.

Read the licence fields before the brand

VID exposes the registered company number and licence-number strings alongside the website entries. Several mixed operators show an A-series licence and a TI number; entities described only for interactive gambling show an E-series licence and a TI number. This page preserves those strings but does not invent a decoding rule or expiry date that the list itself does not publish.

A brand match is therefore only the beginning. The check must still connect the exact website entry to the named legal entity and the licence fields in the same regulator record. Group ownership, a similar logo or a licence held by another subsidiary is not a substitute.

A reproducible Latvia website check

Use the complete hostname or path presented to the player and record the date of the check. The regulator list can change between Atlas reviews.

  • Open VID's licensed gambling organisers page and search the exact website string, not only the brand name.
  • Record the legal entity, registration number and all licence numbers shown for that organiser.
  • Preserve subdomains and paths exactly as published; do not collapse my.synottip.lv into synottip.lv or betsafe.com/lv into a generic group domain.
  • Check the product wording on the detailed organiser row and do not extend it to another entity, site or product.
  • If the site is missing or the record lacks the status detail needed for a decision, mark the result unresolved and ask VID for current confirmation.
  • Recheck before onboarding, payment processing, publication or another high-risk decision; this article is a dated verification aid, not legal advice.

Latvia's official list is now published by the State Revenue Service, VID. The former IAUI was integrated into VID on 1 April 2026.

The VID snapshot lists 21 gambling organisers and 25 website entries. Those are different denominators: several entities have multiple sites and one listed entity has no website in the summary table.

A website check should preserve the exact entity, registration number, licence numbers, published website and product wording instead of treating a consumer brand as the licence holder.

The visual summary does not replace the linked regulator records below.

What the official list does not prove

The public list gives a strong entity, registration, licence-number, website and product-scope join, but it does not display an expiry date or a separate live-status field. Atlas cannot infer those fields from the absence of a warning, the shape of a licence number or the fact that a website still resolves.

The list also does not test geolocation, account access, deposits, withdrawals, games, bonuses or customer support. A regulator entry for one website does not automatically cover lookalike domains, mobile applications, redirects or another product operated by a related company.

The law requires website-level disclosure

Latvia's Gambling and Lotteries Law requires an interactive-gambling website to state the organiser's name, legal address and interactive-gambling licence number, alongside the games covered, rules, age restriction and addiction warning. That makes an operator-page disclosure useful corroborating evidence, but the official VID record remains the authority-side source.

The same law now assigns licensing and supervision functions to VID. A private database, search result or former IAUI mirror may help locate evidence, but it should not override the current authority record.

Method, limits and next review

Atlas rechecked the VID organiser list, the official transfer notice and the consolidated Gambling and Lotteries Law on 9 October 2026. The organiser dataset states that it was updated on 1 June and the page on 3 June. Atlas transcribed the 21 entity rows, counted website entries without normalising paths or subdomains, and retained the licence strings exactly as displayed.

No expiry, suspension or real-time validity claim is made because those fields are not shown in this list. The maintenance owner is the Atlas Editorial Engine; the next planned review is 6 November 2026, or sooner if VID changes the page.
