Historical source and current retrieval gap

The 24 August Atlas record says the institutional page dated 12 August linked a June 2026 PDF with 21 consumer domains. Both exact official URLs were unavailable to the 24 October retrievals, so neither the current link nor the historical rows were reconfirmed.

Permit scope

The current federal regulation assigns permit administration to SEGOB’s DGJS and requires a written permit. Articles 31-33 make permissions non-transferable and require the named holder, authorised games and term; the general rule for new remote-betting-centre permits is one to 15 years, subject to applicable transitional provisions. A historical domain snapshot does not establish a current consumer-domain or product permission.

Historical brand findings remain unconfirmed

The prior Atlas review recorded bet365.mx in the June 2026 snapshot and no Sportium- or PokerStars-branded domain. These historical observations are not a new 24 October register result. All three relationships now remain under review until current official evidence is accessible.

Internet bets require approved mechanics

Article 85 allows authorised establishments to take bets by internet, telephone or electronic means only with mechanics approved in advance by SEGOB. The control system must record the bettor’s identity/account and the transaction date, time, number, amount and selection. This framework does not identify or approve any specific Atlas operator.

Adult participation

Article 5 of the federal gaming regulation excludes minors from wagering; the Federal Civil Code, Article 646, sets adulthood at 18 completed years. The limited exception for minors accompanying an adult at live events does not permit them to place bets.

Product and legacy-permit limits

The law and regulation prohibit games outside their authorised scope. The consolidated regulation, as amended on 16 November 2023, prohibits slot machines in any form and contains specific transitional rules for existing permissions and operators. These general texts do not settle the current commercial remote-casino or poker product scope, or resolve applicable judicial relief. Atlas therefore marks those two products unclear. This records an evidence gap rather than a finding that either product is prohibited. The relevant authorisations, transitional rights and authoritative judicial interpretation are needed to resolve that scope.
