Current platform directory

The LGCB lists ten sportsbook licences with legal entities, trading names and licence identifiers. DraftKings and FanDuel also appear in the separate fantasy-sports section, so Atlas counts each brand once rather than treating the directory’s twelve rows as twelve unique operators.

ESPN Bet directory lag

LGCB still shows Penn Sports Interactive, LLC d/b/a ESPN Bet under licence B016503440. PENN says it completed the US rebrand to theScore Bet on 1 December 2025. Atlas therefore shows theScore Bet as the current consumer brand but keeps the regulator’s historical label in the evidence note.

Age and parish geofencing

A player must be at least 21 and physically located in a parish that approved sports wagering. Mobile operators must use geofencing and may not accept wagers from outside Louisiana or from a parish that did not approve the proposition.

Licence does not approve every bet

The separate LGCB wagering catalog controls approved leagues, events and wager types. Individual college-athlete proposition bets are prohibited, and an operator that accepts a wager on an unapproved event must void and refund it.

Illegal-operator list

The LGCB’s live enforcement page lists 41 recipients of cease-and-desist letters. This is a separate enforcement list and is not used to count licensed sportsbooks.

Online-casino evidence boundary

The licensed-platform directory supports sportsbook and fantasy-sports claims. It does not provide evidence for online-casino or online-poker authorisation, so Atlas does not infer those products from a Louisiana sportsbook licence.
