Tipico licensed countries: entities, domains and products checked

Check Tipico against current regulator records in Germany and Malta without treating one company, domain or product permission as worldwide authorisation.

The short answer

  • Atlas verified current Tipico-named records in Germany and Malta. This is a checked cohort, not a complete list of every jurisdiction where the group may operate.
  • The records name four legal entities: Tipico Co. Limited, Tipico Games Limited, Tipico Karlsruhe Limited and Tipico Muenchen Limited.
  • The German whitelist publishes nine distinct hostnames across sports betting, virtual slots and Schleswig-Holstein online casino records. One hostname, games.tipico.de, appears under two different holders and must not be collapsed into one licence.
  • The Malta Gaming Authority publishes tipico.com for Tipico Games Ltd's casino authorisation. Its separate Tipico Muenchen fixed-odds betting record publishes no website URL.
  • Austria remains outside the verified cohort because Atlas has not located a current public provincial decision tying the Tipico brand, entity, product and domain to a specific permission. That evidence gap is not an illegality finding.

Official records checked on 22 September 2026. Germany's whitelist was last updated on 7 September 2026. Each holder-product row remains separate even when a hostname repeats.

The five rows contain four distinct legal entities because Tipico Games is represented in both jurisdictions. Germany publishes nine distinct hostnames across its Tipico-named records; Malta adds tipico.com. The repeated games.tipico.de hostname belongs to two separate German holder-product rows and is counted once only for the hostname total.

Two jurisdictions are not a worldwide permission list

Tipico appears in current official records that Atlas could reconcile in Germany and Malta. The result is deliberately narrower than a generic availability list. A regulator record answers a jurisdiction-specific question about a named holder, product and sometimes a domain; it does not prove that every Tipico product is available to every reader.

The German and Maltese records also do different jobs. Germany's whitelist publishes holder-product-domain combinations. The MGA seals publish the licence status and product type for two Malta entities, but only one of those records supplies a website URL. Atlas keeps the missing field missing instead of borrowing tipico.com for the betting authorisation.

Evidence path

From question to defensible conclusion

Each step must preserve the jurisdiction, product, entity, source and review date.

Original Atlas analysis: five rows, four entities and ten hostnames

Atlas extracted jurisdiction, holder, exact hostname, product, permission or licence identifier and evidence date into separate fields. The five regulator rows contain four distinct holder strings. Tipico Games Limited or Ltd appears in both Germany and Malta, but each authority's permission remains jurisdiction-specific.

The German rows publish nine distinct hostnames. Malta adds tipico.com, bringing the checked cohort to ten. That count is a normalised hostname inventory, not a count of licences or countries. The German hostname games.tipico.de is linked to virtual-slot records for both Tipico Games Limited and Tipico Karlsruhe Limited, so deduplicating the hostname cannot erase either holder row.

Germany separates betting, slots and state casino permissions

The GGL describes its whitelist as the official list of organisers and intermediaries holding a permission or concession under the 2021 Interstate Treaty. Its 7 September 2026 version names Tipico Co. Limited for sports betting at tipico.de and Tipico Games Limited for virtual slots at games.tipico.de and goldrummel.de.

Tipico Karlsruhe Limited has three separate product records. Its online-casino record is limited to Schleswig-Holstein and publishes four hostnames. Its sports-betting record uses original-wetten.de, while its virtual-slot record publishes games.tipico.de and originalslots.de. Product and territorial scope therefore belong to the row, not to the brand name alone.

Malta has two B2C records with different evidence fields

The MGA seal for Tipico Games Ltd marks MGA/B2C/129/2004 as Licensed, identifies Type 1 gaming services and casino, and publishes tipico.com. That is the domain-bearing Malta record used in this guide.

A separate seal names Tipico Muenchen Limited and marks MGA/CRP/972/2022-02 as Licensed for Type 2 gaming services and fixed-odds betting, including live betting. The seal does not publish a website URL. Atlas does not transfer tipico.com, the casino product or Tipico Games Ltd's licence number into that record.

Last editorial review: 2026-09-22. Review target: every 30 days.

Atlas verified current Tipico-named records in Germany and Malta. This is a checked cohort, not a complete list of every jurisdiction where the group may operate.

The records name four legal entities: Tipico Co. Limited, Tipico Games Limited, Tipico Karlsruhe Limited and Tipico Muenchen Limited.

The German whitelist publishes nine distinct hostnames across sports betting, virtual slots and Schleswig-Holstein online casino records. One hostname, games.tipico.de, appears under two different holders and must not be collapsed into one licence.

The visual summary does not replace the linked regulator records below.

Why Austria is not in the verified cohort

Atlas already records an Austria relationship under review because sports-betting permissions are administered under provincial frameworks. The public framework source does not by itself connect Tipico to a specific current provincial decision, entity, domain, product and licence term.

That gap prevents Austria from being counted as a verified licensed country here. It does not prove that Tipico lacks every permission in Austria. A current provincial register or decision with the missing fields would be required to change the status.

How to verify a Tipico claim

Start with the jurisdiction, product and exact hostname rather than the brand logo. Preserve the regulator result because a holder, domain or permission can change independently.

  • Name the jurisdiction and product being checked.
  • Copy the full hostname, including prefixes such as games or casino and the country-code suffix.
  • Open the local regulator record and capture the legal entity, product, licence or permission and status separately.
  • Treat identical or related hostnames under different entities as separate regulator rows.
  • Keep state-limited casino permissions separate from nationwide or cross-state betting and slot records.
  • If a domain or licence field is absent, report the gap; do not import it from another company or country.

Method, limits and next review

Atlas started with the Tipico relationships in its country-operator layer, reopened the GGL whitelist and both MGA seals on 22 September 2026, and normalised exact hostnames only for the ten-domain count. It kept authority, holder, product and territorial scope separate. The underlying country profiles remain on their own review cadence; this guide records the narrower Tipico evidence without presenting it as a complete country-profile refresh.

This guide does not test registration, geolocation, deposits, withdrawals, bonuses, games, retail-shop status, support or consumer availability. It is not a ranking or recommendation. The checked cohort is not a claim that Tipico has no other licences. Atlas will recheck by 22 October 2026 and sooner if either authority changes a named record. Current official sources control if they differ from this page.
