Online gambling in Lithuania

Current permit journal

The regulator’s remote-gambling journal lists ten permit holders, 22 exact domain strings, permit decisions, device identifiers, platform identifiers and amendments. Its totals row reports 400 permitted gaming devices and ten remote platforms. These are four different register denominators, not counts of brands, games, customers or active players.

Latest permit changes

The journal updated on 7 September 2026 continues to list ten holders and records Amber Gaming amendment 2026-DIE-320 on that date. Atlas treats holder, domain, device and platform totals separately.

Check the exact domain

LPT provides a consumer website checker and publishes the permitted domains in the journal. Atlas uses the legal entity and exact domain together because one permit holder can operate several brands and websites.

Betsafe and Betsson

The current journal lists betsafe.lt, betsafe.com, betsson.lt and betsson.com under UAB Lošimų strateginė grupė and permit 2023-DIE-31. Atlas records Betsafe and Betsson as separate brand relationships linked to that same Lithuanian permit holder.

Minimum age: 21

Since 1 November 2025, Lithuania applies a single minimum age of 21 to all gambling, including participation in remote gambling.

Responsible-gambling controls

Operators must use responsible-gambling control systems to monitor player behaviour, identify problematic gambling and intervene. Remote-gambling platforms must also be certified.

Self-exclusion register

Lithuania maintains a national register for people who have restricted their own access to gambling. The regulator publishes information and access routes for the register.

Illegal-gambling list

The regulator publishes a separate list of illegal remote-gambling operators and supports domain and payment blocking. That blacklist is not the source used to validate licensed operators.

Polymarket access and payment blocking

On 8 September 2026 the LPT said access to polymarket.com must be blocked and payment providers must stop transactions involving Adventure One QSS, Inc. The notice publishes no fine or criminal conviction.
