Why this matters

The same €675,000 can describe forfeited amounts, unpaid debts, collection decisions or recovered money. The record also contains two different appeal layers: the underlying orders are final, while collection remains contested.

Procedural status

Collection decisions under objection

The Ksa records collection decisions against three companies and live objections. The public case pages do not confirm payment, reimbursement or final objection outcomes.

The current picture

  • The Ksa has moved to collect €225,000 from each of three companies connected to illegal gambling advertising, an aggregate €675,000.
  • The regulator says the amounts were forfeited after the companies failed to comply with orders carrying weekly payments.
  • All three collection decisions have been challenged through the objection process.

Confirmed by the record

  • The original orders concerned illegal gambling advertising associated with Casinoscout.nl and besteonlinecasinonederland.com.
  • Each order carried €75,000 per week up to a maximum of €225,000.
  • The Ksa case pages say JEF Holdings Ltd, SBM Holding Group Ltd and Sun Block Media Labs 2.0 Ltd each forfeited the maximum amount and did not pay.
  • The regulator issued collection decisions on 17 July 2026 and records objections against all three.

Not established

  • The public pages do not say that the aggregate €675,000 has already been recovered.
  • The objections to the collection decisions remain open in the published case records.
  • The administrative enforcement record is not a criminal conviction.
  • The public pages do not publish traffic, affiliate revenue, deposits or player-loss figures linked to the advertising.

Evidence map

Each core claim is paired with the document used to substantiate it. Open the record and check our reading.

1

The Ksa imposed three orders carrying €75,000 per week up to €225,000 per company over advertising for illegal gambling.

2

Each company forfeited €225,000, did not pay and received a collection decision dated 17 July 2026.

3

All three collection decisions are under objection and the public pages do not confirm recovery.

4

The underlying orders are final: two objections were inadmissible, one was rejected and no court appeals were filed.

Three maximum amounts produce a €675,000 total

The Kansspelautoriteit has moved to collect €225,000 from each of three companies over illegal gambling advertising linked to Casinoscout.nl and besteonlinecasinonederland.com. Added together, the collection decisions target €675,000.

The three companies are JEF Holdings Ltd, SBM Holding Group Ltd and Sun Block Media Labs 2.0 Ltd. Their individual Ksa pages say each forfeited the maximum amount under an earlier order and failed to pay, leading the regulator to issue collection decisions dated 17 July 2026.

How the weekly orders reached the maximum

The original enforcement structure was €75,000 for every week the prohibited advertising continued, capped at €225,000 per company. That mechanism is designed to compel compliance: the amount grows while the conduct remains unresolved, but stops at the stated ceiling.

The Ksa now says the maximum was forfeited in all three cases. The arithmetic explains the aggregate figure: three companies multiplied by €225,000. It does not prove that the money has entered the regulator's accounts, which is precisely why separate collection decisions were necessary.

What the advertising case concerned

The regulator's original July 2025 notice described promotions for online gambling providers without a Dutch licence. The advertising appeared through websites associated with CasinoScout, including Casinoscout.nl and besteonlinecasinonederland.com.

Affiliate-style pages can sit one step away from the gambling operator, but Dutch advertising rules still apply to the route they create toward unlicensed offers. The published record concerns the promotional activity and the companies addressed by the orders; it does not establish that those companies operated every destination advertised.

Collection is not the same as recovery

A collection decision is the regulator's legal step to pursue an amount it says is due. Reporting that step as if €675,000 had already been received would overstate the record. The case pages checked for this draft say the individual amounts were unpaid when collection action followed.

The distinction also affects the headline. The Ksa has moved to collect the aggregate amount; it has not publicly confirmed successful recovery. A later payment, enforcement measure or settlement would be a separate development.

All three collection decisions are contested

The underlying orders and the newer collection decisions are at different stages. The Ksa pages record that JEF and Sun Block’s objections to the original orders were inadmissible, while SBM’s objection was rejected on the merits. No court appeals followed, so those orders are final.

The companies have separately objected to the July collection decisions. Those challenges concern recovery of the forfeited amounts; they do not reopen every part of the original advertising findings. A final objection decision could still alter the collection route.

The distinction prevents two opposite errors. The €675,000 is more than a theoretical maximum because the Ksa says it was forfeited and invoiced, but it is not yet confirmed recovered money because the regulator records non-payment and live collection objections.

For readers tracking the case, the useful milestone is not another repetition of the aggregate. It is a decision on one of the collection objections, a court filing or a payment record that changes whether the state has actually recovered any part of the amount.

The next verifiable developments

There are three kinds of update worth watching: decisions on the current objections, confirmation that any amount has been paid or recovered, and a response from the named companies. None should be assumed from the existence of the July collection decisions alone.

For now, the evidence supports a precise account: three €225,000 amounts, an aggregate €675,000, non-payment recorded by the regulator and three live objections to collection. It does not support claims about criminal liability, advertising revenue or the number of Dutch players who followed the links.

Response record

No separate current response from the three named companies is included in the official pages reviewed. Any objection grounds or company statement should be added if published.
