Greece regulates online gambling under Law 4002/2011 through the Hellenic Gaming Commission. Operators need separate Type 1 and Type 2 licences for online betting and other online games of chance. Atlas reviewed the market framework, official website checker, blacklist process and complaints route on 23 October 2026. The headline count of 18 online licence holders remains the dated 22 August finding rather than a new recount. Seven selected positive entity, domain, licence-type and validity matches were last checked in the HGC register on 26 September; BetShop is recorded separately under the revocation decision and invalid register entries.
